A bronze sculpture of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini —Mother Cabrini— was unveiled at Basilica of Saint Paul Outside The Walls, Rome, Italy. Rotblatt Amrany Studio artists Lou Cella and Jessica LoPresti collaborated on this sculpture which was originally commissioned by Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago. The attention to details and personal touches that are hallmarks of our studio’s figurative work is apparent in the fabric of Mother Cabrini’s habit, the engraving and intricacy of her cross and ring, and the delicate violets she walks through. We worked with an Italian team to create the granite base and install the statue just outside the Vatican.
