Marina Kovalevskaya is a sculptor, and art instructor from Saint Petersburg, Russia. She graduated from St. Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design. (MFA, Sculpture). In St. Petersburg, she was involved in many architectural restoration projects. She has more than 40 years of experience as a sculptor, both in figurative and abstract styles. She is especially passionate about stone carving and photography and has many years of experience in sculpture restoration and mold making. She has been a member of the Rotblatt Amrany Studio since 2005. As a professional sculptor, she participated in such Studio commissions as Mike Modano, Dustin Brown, Dirk Nowitski, Shaquille O’Neal, and many others. She has given four solo exhibitions—at Essanay Studio (Charlie Chaplin Auditorium) at St. Augustine College in Chicago, at The Gallery at A + C Architects in Skokie, and two at Terra Sounds School of Music and Arts in Glenview.
