FORT SHERIDAN, IL — Rotblatt Amrany Studio, a renowned art and design studio known for iconic sports monuments across the country, is honored to announce its selection as the artist partner for the bronze statue commemorating WNBA legend Sue Bird.
In partnership with the Seattle Storm and Climate Pledge Arena, the statue will be the first of its kind in franchise history and a significant milestone for women’s sports. It is scheduled to be unveiled on August 17, 2025, at the East Plaza of Climate Pledge Arena.
“We are deeply honored to help celebrate Sue Bird’s extraordinary legacy through the enduring medium of sculpture,” said Julie Rotblatt Amrany, co-founder of Rotblatt Amrany Studio. “Sue’s impact on the game and on generations of athletes is immeasurable, and this monument will serve as a permanent symbol of inspiration and excellence.”
Sue Bird, a five-time Olympic gold medalist and four-time WNBA champion, spent her entire 21-season professional career with the Seattle Storm, becoming one of the most beloved and decorated athletes in league history. The statue aims to reflect not only her prowess on the court but also her leadership, integrity, and legacy beyond the game.
