Cobi Jones

On April 26th, 2026, the Los Angeles Galaxy and Rotblatt Amrany Studio honored legendary player Cobi Jones with a custom bronze statue. His statue was unveiled at Dignity Health Sports park in Los Angeles, joining other Galaxy legends statues David Beckham and Landon Donovan.

Artists Oscar León and Omri Amrany were tasked with sculpting the the effect of motion. Jones wanted the statue to reflect how he experienced his time with the Galaxy. “I wanted something synonymous with myself, and how I felt about myself in this game”, said Jones. His statue is seen as a blend of both the Galaxy’s history and future—providing fans with an experience that leaves them moved by nostalgia and memories while showing potential for what the future holds for the team.

The flowing hair, defined muscles, and pose on Cobi’s statue depicts him catapulting from the ground with intensity and springing into action. His statue reflects the essence he’s known for as a player—powerful, fast, and undeniably strong.
