Basketball legend Hank Gathers was memorialized by Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California with a bronze statue on February 29, 2020. Gathers was part of the record-breaking, high-scoring 1989-90 team that became one of the most unforgettable and inspiring stories in NCAA basketball history.
