Joe Carter

About Project

On July 18th, the Joe Carter statue was unveiled by the Toronto Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre, honoring the revolutionary player.

Sculped by Omri Amrany and Lou Cella, the monument depicts Carter after hitting a home run that secured the World Series Championship for the Blue Jays in 1993. Running with raised arms and an elated expression, the triumph of the moment for Carter and fans is felt in his statue.

Created to honor one of the most iconic moments in baseball’s history, the bronze monument captures the significance of the moment for Blue Jay’s fans. It’s unveiling coincides with the 50th season for the team, celebrating 5 decades of team history.
