Dirk Nowitzki Statue

Dirk Nowitzki statue Dallas Omri Amrany

The Dallas Mavericks and artist Omri Amrany unveiled a white bronze and black granite sculpture of Dirk Nowitzki before the game versus the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas Day.

The German basketball star who played his entire professional career in Dallas, will join the ranks of legends sculpted by the Fine Art Studio of Rotblatt Amrany. Since creating the Michael Jordan sculpture The Spirit for the Chicago Bulls, the studio has been commissioned to sculpt the most talented and famous athletes in the NCAA, MLB, MLS, NBA, WNBA, NHL, NFL as well as scientists, explorers, and visionaries. Julie Rotblatt Amrany and Omri Amrany opened their studio in the Chicago area in 1992 as a woman-owned, family-operated business. The studio is located in historic Fort Sheridan, just north of Chicago, steps from Lake Michigan.
