Fergie Jenkins was honored by the Chicago Cubs with a bronze statue outside Gallagher Way and Wrigley Field. The statue by artist Lou Cella is installed alongside Ernie Banks, Billy Williams, and Ron Santo–also by Lou Cella of Fine Art Studio of Rotblatt Amrany. The lineup of baseball bronzes was referred to as “The Mount Rushmore” of the Cubs. “Fergie Forever” was a line repeated throughout the day.
