Mother Cabrini at Holy Name Cathedral, Chicago

A bronze sculpture of “Chicago’s saint” Mother Cabrini was unveiled at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago, Illinois. Rotblatt Amrany Studio artists Lou Cella and Jessica LoPresti collaborated on this project. The attention to details and personal touches which is a hallmark of our studio work is apparent in the fabric of the habit, Mother Cabrini’s cross and ring, and the delicate violets she steps through which were noted to be her favorite flower.

The goal was to show Mother Cabrini reaching out from her heart to the people of Chicago and anyone coming to visit. The unveiling, mass, and acknowledgements can be viewed on the Cathedral’s YouTube channel.
